Inn on the Lake Wedding Photography

I’m always super excited when I get an enquiry through for weddings in the Lake District, it’s one of my favourite places to visit and often first on my list for day trips. Inn on the lake is one of the top wedding venues overlooking Ullswater and has the most spectacular views of the lake at the back. Along with the added bonus of having the award winning Ullswater Steamers literally within walking distance. What could be better than heading out on your own private boat with your wedding guests to enjoy such beautiful views.

One of my favourite things about being a wedding photographer is that I get to travel to such beautiful venues and if I’m being honest, the Inn on the Lake is definitely one of my top venues I love to shoot at. 

Outdoor Wedding Ceremony in The Lake District

Even more exciting was hearing the plans of these two getting married under the lakeside gazebo outside, it’s honestly one of the most beautiful settings for a wedding ceremony. Overlooking the lake, the gazebo has incredible views and offers a real tranquil setting, especially with the beautiful weather.

Following on from the ceremony, the afternoon was spent outdoors in the glorious sunshine. It really was the perfect weather and that went really well with the Ice Cream during the drinks reception (I may have pinched one, just to make sure it tasted as good as it looked).
